Yep! HM Basses. They made HM Bass Ultras too. I have the HMT bass in 3 color sunburst and a HM Bass in bluesstone. You can see a pic of the HMT on the gallery page of this website thanks to Jim.

Ok, convinced I am...... Oh I can't keep this Yoda stuff up any longer!.... ;D Fender have obviously changed what they are calling "Sonic Blue" over the years... This is what they are calling it now: www.fender.com/support/colorchart.php?show=blue&color=53I personally don't think the Teal HM is very blue (and I've got two of them!) - it's a kind of greeny-blue But I guess fender know best!! Well, I think the color of the sonic blue on HMs may have been darker than the sonic blue on regular strats from the get go. But, as the guitar ages the sonic blue may tend to turn into a more blue/green color, which doesn't quite look like the sonic blue it started out as. I believe this is due to the fact that if sonic blue guitars are left near windows the sun may yellow the finish somewhat and we all now yellow & blue make green.

Interesting theory, but complete nonsense, I'm afraid ;D I've had one of my HMs from new, bought in 1987, and it's always been the same colour - turquoise! The other is also from 1987, and bought last year. This one is also turquoise.

That is my opinion and you're welcome to yours of course. ;D One man's turquoise is Fender's sonic blue. The fact remains, the color is sonic blue.

Woohoo, another Pink vote. ;D
Although, you may have meant Rasberry.?
Pink was a very light Salmon Pinkish.

No, it's definately the pink Bo! With a maple board too from a looks point of view. Having said that did they do the pink ones with a rosewood board? Rapberry comes in 3rd behind the pesky blue/green colour!

lbeast has an HMT bass. I saw an HM Bass once, but couldn't justify spending the $500 or whatever it was.

there's a music shop near me that has one for 500 euro. I wonder what kind of look they were going for with the f hole and the wooden bridge though.

Having said that did they do the pink ones with a rosewood board? Indeed they did. My white HM used to be the light "Salmon" Pink and it came with the most beautiful, best feeling neck in the world! ;DCLICK TO ENLARGE

Bo you ever notice the guy beside you with the HM3? Indeed I did notice that, but not until I joined this forum!
I believe he's playing a Squier HM2 though.
HM3's had rounded bodies. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Here's a picture of 2 HM3's in the "Galleries" section of the home page.
I was in that band in 1994, and had no clue what he was playing.

I believe it is an HM3 I looked at the pictures in your photobucket. It has a Floyd.

Hmm...well you certainly could be right. I'm not sure at all.
It does appear to have a Floyd of some brand.
I just know the HM3's in the pic have rounded edged bodies, and my buddies guitar did not. It had squared edges, just like an HM.
Here's another pic of the whole band, and the guitar in question.
