I alway liked the Vandenberg with the puzzle graphic on it. Never played one though. I thought they might be Peavey's answer to the HM Strat given that they employed a Kahler Spyder.

Oh yeah....the earlier ones like mine had the "fluted" headstock. Later ones didn't, and those are the necks that don't feel the same to me. I am not sure if fluted is the right term or not, just what I call them.

I always liked that guitar Gary. It's a cool guitar. I dig that they have the pickups angled "the right way." Meaning that for metal you would want the pickups angled towards the bridge on the heavier string side so your tone doesn't get muddy. Adrian got that one right!

It's amazing how cheap these guitars are these days (along with the Nitro) and how well they play. The neck on this one is almost as nice as the claw neck on my Pacer Deluxe. I will be looking for more of these for sure. Would love to snag a Destiny though. Also the G90 model is about the same guitar.
