thats how I got my 2nd HM in 2006 It was being parted out on ebay, the owner had taken out the pick ups to keep and had every thing else on ebay, I emailed him and we made a deal I got everything for $300.00 $100.00 more than I had payed for my first HM in 1998 complete. When I got it I put her all back together minus the pick ups and sat her in a stand next the my other HM, I finally took her to the shop yesterday to have the new pick ups installed LOL It should be close to $300.00 more so I payed $600.00 for her (not that sweet of a deal) but I saved an HM from who knows what so thats cool right?

I got one of mine the exact same way as you, fenderbender. I won the neck and I said "can we do a deal?" so he threw in the body too. + tuners. + Pickups. + Bridge. + controls.

I was happy.


Anyhow, back on topic. Holy Sheet! That neck went for 20 bucks!!!!!

That's how I got my Red Chrome HM as well. Got a body (all messed up) and neck for $90 off a forum. Found the new body on eBay for $50. Got the Super 3 and two Lace Holy Grails used for $40 each. Had a Kahler Spyder left over from another trade. Got a chrome plated Fender Deluxe neck plate off eBay for $8 or something.

The last two we watched went for upwards of $200, (one with a maple board for $255) so I'll be interested to see what it climbs to.

I didnt get such an awesome buy on the body
I wasn't going to be home so I put in a max of $105.99 thinking i would get it for around $65.00 WOW $99.60 but less the pick ups and the spyder its pretty much all there and thats cool (crap now I have to sand this thing )

I didn't get the neck but I got the body and the spider, I got the tuners and the Knobs and the back plate............ I don't know whats up with the seller though After I won the bids it said I must pay in seven days. I sent him an e-mail asking if would combine the shipping and that I didn't get payed till the first and i need a little time and ask if he could work with me and I haven't gotten any sort of response, So I'm not sure how this is going to work out

ya dude I checked ebay and it had 5 min left and I was trying so hard to get a bid in and my internet was just not working with me not a good time for ity to be slow
