Hi,
First time here. Mine has been sitting in it's case for the last 20 years. I bought it for about $100 because the wiring was all messed up and it was painted purple from it's original hot pink. I've finally dragged it out and am in the process of repairing it. Does anyone know if you can get the STRAT Logo? Will post picks later.
Owner: Dingleberry Color: was hot pink, now stripped back S/N: E833694 Pickups: HSS
Year: 1988-89
Fretboard: maple
Bridge: Kahler Spyder

Give me some time to find a good logo to run through illustrator and then maybe someone can use it to print on water slide paper.

E920617...she's a teal/cool blue hm with a beautiful, very well taken care of body and neck. I bought it about a year ago and she had active em g's in her. I didn't dig the tone so I put two yjm dimarzio single ' and semore Duncan jb in the bridge. I swapped out the 250 k pots for 500 k. 24 fret rosewood neck and the kahler spyder. I'm not sure how to post pics but I have pics on "strat talk" forum. This is the best guitar I've ever owned. Thanx man☆☆☆

H032481 Original Floyd Rose, original pickups (HSS), stensil STRAT logo, red w/black hardware. I have rewired the pickupselector, pos.1 - Humbucker; Pos.2 - Split hum./middle; Pos.3 - Split hum./neck; Pos.4 - Middle/neck; Pos.5 - Neck. The TBX control is rewired to function as a high pass/low pass filter with bypass in the middle position, and I`ve added an EMG Afterburner for just-in-case. I`m trying to get some decent sounds from the humbucker. Mine was way to muddy in it`s original state so I have done a half-air mod to it which have cleaned it up pretty nicely. But I`m still not sure if I´m gona keep it, or get an Dimarzio PAF 36th anniversary or a half-air modded Tone Zone. I had a PAF 36th in it before, I liked the sound but the 36 was not F-spaced and my les paul needed to get rid of it`s Burstbucker Pro bridge pickup (the Burstbucker is single conductor so it`s not a candidate for my Strat HM). I have to give the guitar som time to grow on me before i decide, the half-air mod is fairly young. :-)

And for the record, if you should update that serial database in the future. My name is Jørn Heimro (Jorn, if you don`t find a way to write that lettere "ø" :-) ) and I`m from Norway. I bought this guitar brand new when I was a kid, it must have been around 1992 or 1993.

Hey guys,
Found one of these in the loft while having a clear out. what a beauty. It's been in the family for a while but I never knew much about it. Whilst gathering info, I came across this site (which is brilliant btw) and saw your database, however, I failed to notice any starting with E7... whereas My serial number is: E799466 anybody got any insights?? look forward to hearing from you all.

Get some pics posted when you can. Going by the E7, I'd say MIJ Contemporary Strat.

Here are a few quick pics dude. The neck is in superb condition. There is a bit of wear on the back plate, which I've seen a lot on others posted, and only one real ding on the body, bottom right. The whammy bar is hiding somewhere in my loft also. ALBUM: imgur.com/a/DmWMk

Toss that contemporary strat comment. The site I looked at has E's tied to Japan. Here is the link; Here

Cool, so do you reckon this was just an early 1988 MIJ? Are the serial Nos linked to production number at all? Or is there a possibility that there were a few made prior, say late 1987? thanks for the link man some good info
