I actually kind of like it. It's like a stealth superstrat. People would glance and say "oh, just a strat". Until you tear their faces off with sonic awesomeness.

But to think, they routed the body to put that pickguard on it.
It is indeed a sleeper, as you say.

Undoubtedly a sleeper, but it does seem a shame to take a pretty rare guitar and make it look like a standard Stratocaster of which there are already thousands.

Plus, why would you take out the Super 3 and use a regular single-coil? Blecch.
