Yeah, probably made in an Asian factory for 12 cents apiece! More and more people are coming out of the woodwork trying to capitalize on the HM's.

Jeez... I took mine off and replaced them with black metal knobs.
Part of me thinks the seller is a jerk, but more of me thinks anybody willing to pay crazy bucks for knobs is a dumbass and deserves it.
Seriously, there's nothing that should make anyone think they're a really hot-ticket item.

dumb enough to pay = deserves it. but on the other side, they are not in production anymore and were part of a limited production guitar model. so they're bound to become more expensive as time goes by. but that's not now surely.

The co-owner of the guitar store I go to said HM's in general would go up in price now that they've hit 20 years old. I think we're seeing some of that, but you're right - $50 & $100 for knobs - it's too soon for that!
