I decided to swap the Super 3 in my HM strat for a Norton, but the original switch burned out, so i'm putting in a CRL switch to replace it.
First, I noticed that the Super 3 was installed with the red and green wires soldered together to one of the TBX pots, the black wire used as hot, and the white and bare to ground. Were the wire colors different, or is this just unusual wiring due to the TBX controls?
Second, do you guys like the TBX controls? I'm considering just taking them out, mostly because they make wiring the guitar much more difficult.
Thanks

Sounds odd. Normally on DiMarzios, Red is the hot, black and white are tied together, and green and bare are ground. Don't have my HM yet, so I can't check.
