Used one of their neck through necks, then slapped a couple pieces of black korina on the sides. Went for the Tele style control plate, but I like the volume closer to the pickups, so I reversed it.

Man, that guitar turned out so well!
I know you've got a fleet, but I bet that one gets alot of playing time...

Actually, the maple core keeps this guitar pretty bright. I've got another guitar that's a one piece solid korina body with a set mahogany neck and it's my darkest sounding guitar. This one has a Carvin string through bridge and sustains great. Korina has more mids than mahogany but is very similar.

That's very cool. I've heard that their neck-thru blanks are a good way to start if you're new at building.
