Yeah I think that is an HM3. I always wondered how they compare to the earlier HM's. I am guessing yours is the later ones after the traditional HM and Talon's came along and before the likes of the Squier Showmaster and Stagemasters?

Yep, definitely an HM3. There's a whole write-up on those over on the Background page on the main site. Look on the Model Descriptions page.
Yours appears to be pretty clean. Can I use the picture for reference on that page?

you can indeed use the picture. it has a few chips and cracks but it is 20 years old but it plays lovely,i read some where that the hm 3 was the best of the lot but i haven't played any of the others to tell. im intrested in changeing the pickups but dont have a lot of money any thing you guys can suggest?
