Strat logo

Hello all!

Where can you get the "Strat" logo. I needed a replacement and called Fender with the serial number and they said they do not make them anymore to try some independent label maker or some such.

Where would/have you guys had a logo made?

You can search around eBay. I found this guy and I'm going to get a logo with my name on it, serial number 0000001, FRANKENCASTER and the Frankenstein head for my Mighty Mite Strat below. You could also buy WaterSlide Decal paper and create your own. I did that with my parrot picture on my HM, but creating a Fender logo with just the right fonts and everything to look authentic would be a bit of a pain.

I think another option would be to find as many photos of the headstock decal and try and get a signwriter or graphics guy or sign shop to copy? Luckily I have saved quite a few headstock pics on the HM group album:

On my current HM Strat, the logo had been removed (perfectly, with no marring... ) and replaced with a homemade "Fender" logo cut from Chrome Tape.

I took several pictures off the internet and printed the size I wanted with a black background, and covered it completely with clear packing tape, and trimmed it around the paper.

It looks good from the beach, but it's not to scale, but at least I have a "Strat" logo again.
