2 days, 17 hours left at time of posting.
E8 with Fender hardshell. Up to $271
I'll guess this one will either fetch around $400 or the reserve will fail to be met.
Any bets? ;D

I was chatting with lbeast2000 about that one and he thinks it used to be a single humbucker HM that has had a single coil route added at the neck for that Tele pickup.
I agree. Mine is the only single hum I've ever seen, but it is an E8 as well.

Hey I have a Hot Pink 1 Humbucker that was the first HM I ever bought in 1990. It was the one that started the whole ball of wax for me and my enthusiasm for this guitar line. I was attempting to buy a blackstone HH, but Thoroughbred Music in Tampa (now Sam Ash) said it was on back order for like 3 months. I got tired of waiting and ordered a Single HB HM from Veneman's Music in Maryland. When I got it I was like, this is the s**t! Been addicted ever since. That's right Pink. Hot Pink. Not gay, not that there's anything wrong with that (Seinfeld), but slightly androgynous(Prince). EEHEE! Shamon! (Use MJ's voice here.)

Sweeeeet!
Hey, that's pretty cool that you and I both got into HM's the same way - the single hum model! I rarely see those on eBay - do you ever see them for sale there?

Si' senor. I have seen black ones, white ones, and sonic blue ones. I don't recall if I have seen any other Razzberry ones though. I'll bet money you will never see a single HB HM in any other color than a solid one like thos I listed above though.
The most common HMs I see are the HSS solid colored ones (sonic blue, pink, black, white, chrome red, the occasional midnight blue).
Rarer are the stone paint jobs. Even rarer are the HH configuration HMs. I have never owned one, though I have transformed HSs into the HH configuration. I bid on a blackstone HH with a maple neck years ago on eBay and the seller ended the auction early. I was flabbergasted as were other potential buyers. I e-mailed him about it and told him I was willing to bid well over $600.00 for it. He said he ended it early because "he got the price he wanted". Whatever. I don't think he sold it to tell you the truth. He just wanted to see what everbody was willing to pay for it and held on to it. Something fishy was going on if you ask me. If you find an HH model buy it. They are probably the rarest models IMHO.

he thinks it used to be a single humbucker HM that has had a single coil route added at the neck for that Tele pickup. I think you guys are right about that. The pickup hole doesn't quite match the exact shape, and it looks like they forgot to paint the pocket black. And that pickup selector definitely looks out of place. Even rarer are the HH configuration HMs. That's crazy. Thinking back, the guy I bought my white HM from had another, a Blue one, HH but he had the neck humbucker removed and had a single sitting in there sideways.

Wow! $335.00 and the reserve was still not met on a not so well modded HM IMHO. Some will look a gift horse directly in la boca (the mouth for you unilingual folks). Go on now seller. Put that rare, one of a kind guitar up for sale again and see if the second time is a charm.

It's sad that so many of the HM's got modded badly and messed up!
