Hello all! I just won a body off of ebay and thought of putting an HM style neck, but how would i describe it to say Warmoth?
I know 24 frets, but what else? I am looking at birdseye maple with a maple fretboard.

lBeast has the history of the HM neck and who designed it, I'll let him speak to that.
I have heard from several people that the new Charvel San Dimas and SoCals have the same neck profile as the HM's. You might go to a dealer in your area and see if you can play one to check it out.

Check the background page with the 1989 HM Strat pamphlet picture. The back has the specifications on an 1989-1990 HM neck. The 1992 ad below it has the specs on 1991-1992 necks.
