*drools*
I wonder what the deciding factor was, when determining whether the headstock got a Pink or Blue "Swoosh" under the "Strat" logo?

Don't know if there was a method to the madness. I have a red chrome that I bought NOS from House of Guitars in Rochester, NY that came with a blue swoosh. You would think they would want the swoosh to somewhat match the color of the guitar it was on. I have come to believe it was a random process. Grab a neck and slap it on, color be damned.

I read somewhere they would put the finished necks in a big cardboard drum and just pull one out as they needed.
Maybe the guys working the assembly line were color blind, too. haha.

I always used to think they tried to colour match, too. But I guess not!

really? I have a black HM that I wanted to refinish in that robins egg blue color but I never did because mine has the pink swish and I thought it would look bad.

That's as good a reason as I've ever heard for buying another HM, Broken Fusion! hahaha. ;D
