These guitars have very fast, thin necks on them. Gary's more of an expert on them than I am, though.

Far from expoert JIm! ;D While I have never played the Destiny model, it has the same neck and head as the Tracer I have. Which is the same neck as the Vandenbergs have. THe neck is flat, somewhat wide and pretty thin!
Not sure in this model, but some of the Tracer models with head stocks other than mentioned above. Have totally different necks, the feel is not the same. If I were in the market for another one I would go for, as I call them, the ones with the droopy fluted head stocks as this one has.

Ooo...that looks pretty sweet. It sold for $480. Is that a good price?

Halo might be keeping more of an eye on these than me, so he may know better.
I saw one at a music store here that was for sale for $200, although it didn't have the guilt top. I've seen that price on the internet as well, for the plain paint jobs.
It seems pretty high to me, but all these undervalued Peavey's seem to be selling for more, lately. There's that Red Dragon dude on eBay who seems to snap up every Tracer ever made, slap on a cheap paint job, a decent trem and whatever pickup he can find cheap and then sell them for the price of a new RG350 who's driving prices up as well.

I think $480US is a good price on that model. I have not seen that many come up for sale really. MOst times its the Nitro or Tacer models you see and occasionally the G90 models.
I think these guitars are the best kept secret around really! THe Tracer and Nitro models can still be had pretty cheap on Craigslist. That is IF you can snag them before those idiots at RedDragon do! They buy them up and slap a shitty paint job on and ask $400+ on eBay for them!
My beloved Peavey Tracer cost me $100 shipped to my door! Best money I've spent on a guitar in a long time! THe neck is just amazing!
