Haha! Yep, the Invader has humungous ohms, so distorts any clean signal.
I had one in a Charvel model 6, and thought it was very treble-y.
So I put it in another guitar...and now I have no idea why I thought it was a screaming, trebley nightmare.
Pickups, eh? Weird things.
