Bought myself a Mexican strat over the weekend. I decided to treat myself to replace a Lake Placid Blue Tokai strat I had back in the '80s. Always regretted selling that guitar... Anyway, I can't believe how good this strat sounds and plays! Of course, my 2 HM Strats will still be my main guitars for gigging and practices, but the blue strat is for noodling around at home

BTW - If anyone can embed that image a little better, I would be grateful, as my attempts failed!

Just needed to add the "img" tags to the link. Beautiful color on that guitar!

Great! thanks for that!
Yes, it is a lovely colour, a kind of pale blue metallic. The photo captures it well, but it can look darker, depending on how the light hits it.
It is very similar to my old Tokai
I am amazed at how good it sounds and plays!

I love Mexi strats. LOVE them. Great value for money, lovely feel. I like my Strats to have a bit of "fight" in em. The USA are very smooth playing, the Mexi's less so. Call me weird but I love that "fight factor".
Good score!

Very nice. I also love the color - it's a beautiful Stratocaster!
