Yeah, I knew Ritz's history and relative low production #s when I came across this at a local consignment shop. It was a fine guitar, and I played it for a while before selling (on eBay.) It was very resonant, had very hot pickups (Duncans, iirc,) and the neck was fantastic. I just didn't care much for the finish/aesthetic. I've owned a bunch of nice, rare guitars. There's a Japanese Only production Charvel down at the local pawn shop here. I tend to think it's top of the line because it's a one-piece neck. Listed for $150. Looks like this but with natural colored headstock. Check out the weird shape of the headstock.  |
