My Cover of "In My Dreams" by Dokken

I found a decent backing track for this song with drums, vocals and bass already recorded but missing guitar. I re-recorded all the guitar parts over the weekend and mixed it up with the backing track. Let me know what you guys think.

I love the song, a favourite Dokken tune. F-ing awesome job on the solo and tone coming out of it for the main riff.

Thanks, Nick! I couldn't get any of my Floyd guitars in tune with Dokken, so I ended up using my Mighty Mite Strat with a Motherbucker pickup.

* Mighty Mite Motherbucker pickup
* Damage Control Demonizer preamp (2) 12ax7 tubes and a cab sim built in, directly into my computer
* Delta 44 soundcard/input
* Vintage Rockman Distortion Generator, direct in also
* BOSS CE-3 Stereo Chorus
* REAPER recording/mixing software
* Sony Soundforge Mastering Software

* I recorded one take with the preamp output to channel 1 (panned to the left ) and the Rockman output to channel 2 (panned to the middle).
* Then I recorded another take with the preamp panned to the right side of channel 4.
* The Rockman was about half the volume of the other two.
* I used the chorus box as a signal splitter (one to preamp and one to Rockman) and to add some lushness and crunch to the Rockman signal.

If I had more motivation, I would do another track with the Rockman and Chorus during the "What can I say or do?" part. And re-record the solo. I know I could nail that with a little more work.
