I had heard or read somewhere that the Ultra's were made in the Corona Custom Shop - although he disagrees, i think it's just as likely they were made in Japan and shipped over.
My god that is one BUTT-UGLY guitar that guy made! Plus, it's a crime against guitars to take an Ultra neck and put a bone nut on it. Haha.
Interesting stuff! Wonder if he would part with that neck for the right price? I don't have that kind of money, just idly wondering.

ROTFLMAO! I think that's what he named it. He will depart with the neck, but you have to take the American Colonial Era chair back it is attached to as a part of the bargain. It comes as a set you know. Wouldn't want to break it up or anything.

The name's lbeast. I'll be here all week. No roses...just money. Good to be back in the loop Jim. What was he thinking attaching an extremely unique strat neck to a piece of furniture, which was stained with the ugliest shade of green I believe I have ever seen. It looked like he was attempting to make a violin shaped body or something. I guess it's his version of the Stradivarius. LOL
