Have you ever thought about winding and/or designing your own pickups?

It seems like that might be something you'd be good at.

I know this guy who has rewound pickups for me and also makes his own (on a small scale) called AttackBuckers.

Think you can get started for not much more than the price of an old, used sewing machine and some parts from StewMac. You could even use old pickups for parts as well.

I've been working a lot of hours lately.

I've got the bottom of the trem modeled, I just need to model the pocket and the rest of the stuff in there.

I'll work on it tonight.
