Guys, I have a problem with the volume pot...it's wobbling. I'd like to check if it's just untightened. How do I remove the pot cover? Just lifting it?

Ok, it just had to be lifted...and it was just unscrewed. That's good, no pot change!

A good way to remove vol and tone knobs is to prise them evenly and carefully with a credit card or similar. A bit late telling you now I guess but it may help someone else!
Glad it was nothing serious. ;D

No problem. Read it in a guitar mag a bit back so can't take all the credit!

This sounds dumb but I use a teaspoon. You can get crazy good leverage with it. Wedge the "bowl" under the knob. If that doesn't fit, use the other end.

Mh...i just used a flat screwdriver to start, and my hands to pull it off!

That works too. On cheaper volume knobs (i.e. thin ones) the flat screwdriver method can actually rip a volume knob apart though!

I'd be too scared to use a screwdriver to pry mine off. I've scratched up guitars doing that in the past.
