Mine also has a very worn fretboard (mark of a good guitar!) The maple neck ones feel different to the rosewood ones in my experience. I want another maple necked one. They feel great...!

Great looking guitar btw, I love worn maple boards, like Nick says, it's the sign of a good guitar that gets a lot of use.

I never did finish this thread. But heres some closure. The Guitar Sold.
Here we are nearly a year later. AND ITS BACK. This time it would not escape our clutches. Now its ours. Too bad the Owner changed the pickups. We plan to meet up with the owner and get them. Hopefully....

But here it is in its glory.
