Well a loooong time ago I read of Halo's Tracer Pickup With plastic feet. Open up my Peavey and what do I find. Same story. Got pictures will upload in a bit.

They are pretty hot pups! But why the hell they made them with plastic feet is beyond me. I replaced mine but still have the old one.

Blame the Iphone. Look at the humbucker and where the screw would go through. It's plastic.

Basically a pretty nice humbucker overall but put on a plastic base. I am guessing with years of adjusting the pickup up and down or whatever. It cracks the plastic feet that couple it to the pup ring.

I've only ever seen metal on the bottom of pickups.
