Man, that's a bargain! I never really listened to Dokken to be honest, but I remember Slaughter well, still got one of their t-shirts somewhere. 80's metal alive and well and at a venue near you!

I never went out of my way for Dokken either, but I know a few of their songs. Slaughter as well.
Should be fun though, with bunches of friends that I've known since the 80's.
It's at a "Ribfest" too, so yummy food too!

That should be a great night, Bo!
You will love Jon Levin, he's a shredder. Don's voice is pretty shot from all the alcohol and cigs, so don't expect an album-perfect performance from him!
P.S. How can you guys play shredder guitars and not be into Dokken? I mean, COME ON! haha. Just kidding. But seriously.

Ha ha!
That vid was so funny heem!
What I meant was that I didn't actually ever get exposed to any Dokken tunes back in the day, and I was only vaguely aware of them. Maybe they just were'nt as big in the uk and I never actually tried to seek them out-due mostly to laziness I guess. You've spurned me on now dude, I'm gonna buy a Dokken album! Which one would be the best as a starter??!! ;D

Anyway, it rained all day so I didn't go.

I sent you a PM, StratznHatz.
Back for the Attack and Under Lock and Key are equally impressive to me. A lot of guitarists would prolly tell you that George's tone on Back for the Attack was pretty much THE killer tone of the late 80's. I also liked the tone on ULAK, more processed, and most people prolly don't realize he used some Rockman equipment that I think sounded great.
