I just thought I'd share some info on the machines we have where I work.
Our company has grown substantially in the past 5 years, and the owner keeps dumping money into the building and equipment.
We just added 8,000 square feet onto our building and remodeled the office area, plus added almost $1,000,000 in CNC mills this year alone.
I prefer to use the VTC 200B, but occasionally I use a 510C.
These are not our actual machines, just pictures showing what they look like.
List of current machines, oldest to newest:
2000 VTC 200B ~ $130,000 www.quickmachinerysales.com/viewinventoryitem.cgi?id=394
2001 VTC 200C ~ $135,000 www.quickmachinerysales.com/viewinventoryitem.cgi?id=1430
2005 VCN 410A-II ~ $140,000 (with 4th axis option) www.quickmachinerysales.com/viewinventoryitem.cgi?id=1538
2008 VCN 510C-II ~ $120,000 2008 VCN 510C-II ~ $120,000 2009 VCN 510C-II ~ $120,000 www.quickmachinerysales.com/viewinventoryitem.cgi?id=1609
2010 VTC 800/30 SR ~ $300,000 + english.mazak.jp/cgi-bin/itemreg/itemreg.cgi?session=&action=item_disp&key=1001110
2010 Integrex 300-IV ST ~ $450,000 + www.mazakusa.com/productpage.asp?lngEquipID=7

Man that'd be cool to be able to use those machines to cut out some guitars! Wish I had access to a CNC.

Indeed, I feel very fortunate to be able to use these machines.
Even after 7 years of working with these bad boys, it still amazes me what they can do.

That guy sure knows how to play a drill! That must have been the most boring day at work.

I was kinda talking about cutting out some bodies for forum members here. The Aluminum HM body is for sale, although I'm not quite done with polish on it.
