Thought I'd post this in memory of Jimi on the 40th anniversary of his untimely death. I would have loved to have seen him live but I was only 6 weeks old when he died so I doubt I'd have remembered it! This is my favourite performance of Hey Joe from the Monterey gig. Love the way he plays that tasty blues lick at 1.15. He will always be one of my all time favourite guitarists.
