My best friend just picked up a Fender Jazz Bass Special MIJ.
Does anyone have any info on these? It's absolutely beautiful,
complete with Black Headstock, all black hardware, and Fender "F" knobs.
Were these made at the same factory as the HM's? If so, did the
serial numbers fall prey to the same inconsistencies as the HM's?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
