I remember these from just a few years ago. They were a special model offered by Fender at the time. They weren't all that expensive.
Cool idea - offered in 2 or 3 different colors/styles. NOT in anyway associated with the HM's.
I came really close to pulling the trigger on one. But after all - 22 Frets? Square heel joint? No Floyd Rose? As Seth says in the movie Superbad, "Not for me, man!"[/b][/color] ;D

Yeah I know exactly what you mean Jim. Looks great but the big turn off for me is the vintage trem. Just can't see the point on a guitar like this, may as well be a hardtail. Love the paint job though, if I ever come across one at a bargain price I'd consider buying it and dropping a floyd in there.

That would be very cool. You could drop a headstock mounted locking nut on it as well for all out Floyd performance!
