Very nice. Looks very clean and white is a classic color. Nice job!
Did the car resprayers do the gloss coats as well? Do you mind if I ask you how much that cost?

the white is "mercedes white" & yep its shinney with lacquer luckly my mate is the sprayer & he did it for £90, as u can see from the pics it was hard to remove the orginal paint, left a few scratches in the wood, so needed a bit more work that he had hoped for. His advice... next time leave it to the professionals! He would have sooner had the orginal paint on, would have made it easier & cheaper. Thinking about getting my Stratocaster resprayed now lol Also just wondering is there a direct replacement trem with out having to any re-routing?

There's no drop-in replacement bridge that I know of. I have a nice licensed Floyd (the shorter FRII style bridge) that I'm using (at least to start with) on my next HM rebuild. It fits in the existing cavity route, but so tight that the bridge might scrape the edges of the "wings" of the cavity route, so I'm going to enlarge them.

Nice job!! I have a 88/89 that my brother brought new. It's white that has aged to a nice yellowish tint. Good to see people keeping these guitars.

Wish I would of known. I would of paid you to send me the Blue body in exchange for my White one. Also why did you get rid of the Rubber Knobs. They're the best!
