Holy smoke. Where did the blue come from. El Beast whats your say here?So according to the post it is a 1 of. Owner choose the color.
I was starting to believe the Red was the prettiest guitar ever. This, this however takes the cake. I have never seen a more beautiful guitar. Hopefully someone on here will pick it up and document it.
Common El Beast, This is your call Ultra on Ebay. You there Beast.... I think we lost him...

Nice looking guitar! I like that color scheme.
I've decided to try a vinyl wrap on the HM I'm rebuilding (slowly), and picked just about that same color and scheme for it. They have this in a flame maple pattern as well, but I prefer the Ash woodgrain.
P.S. Why do some potential buyers jump the gun and post such a high bid? It does them absolutely no good to be the highest bidder when there's 5 days left on the auction and they probably just raised the eventual price for themselves as well.

Well damn! Now there are two Blue Bursts in the world. Only the second one I have seen. The good thing for me is it's already way above the price I paid for mine and is not in as good a condition considering the chips in the finish it has. Other than these flaws, it looks pretty nice. Can't wait to see where te auction ends up. Come on and bid a million dollars. You can bet if it went for that much I would have to put the blue beast up for sale. Big money, big money!

Yall would be pissed years later regardless of the price you got if you sold em... That is why I bought three. I can spare one or two if the price is right. I'm going to give it another 20 years. When Antique Roadshow and the Blue Book of guitars say it's worth $50k, I'm taking them to auction.

I was the one who bought it, considering those $1.2k will only go up in value, in case I'd ever choose to cash in on it. Meanwhile I can get a good kick out of playing it. Pricey? Yes it is. Worth it? I think I'm in the right forum to agree with me when I say "hell yeah"

Thanks Pics as posted by the ebay seller: www.use.com/fce16a33ce66635b1617?p=1Still didn't get around to shooting my own. Serial number is somewhere between those pics. You can go ahead and write its current location as Israel.

Congrats! Nice snag.
Isreal huh? HMs heard 'round the world.
I think you might be our only Isreali member on the board, not to make you feel isolated, just unqiue.
What say ye Jim? True or no? Sounds like a good time for a special moniker on the board for the man.

Thanks, this really makes me feel welcome! There are a few (although not many) HMs going around here in Israel. My colleague bought a regular US white HM and I really thought its cool and unique. He ended up selling his to a really desperate dude for almost twice as much as he bought it for. And we were both back on the market for another HM. But when I saw that Ultra, I decided that it's mine! So i put a max bid of $1.4K, and I assume the other members of this forum are also to blame for the fact that the auction got so pricey But even though it closed on $1280, I also had a shipping cost of $150 and customs which was around $300, so all in all it was rather expensive, but I wanted a HM and I think I went for what is as good as HMs go...
