HM with OFR on eBay - price?

Hey all, check out the HM Strat on eBay now with OFR and the later small "STRAT" headstock logo.

Looks GREAT! But I think $1750 is (to put it politely) somewhat optimistic. Am I right or is this HM truly that special???

If by somewhat optimistic you mean 1400$ optimistic then yes. It doesn't look that special to me. My guess is bad information on the sellers part. Its just a later model HM with a FR. Not special at all.

It's true you don't see them for sale all that often, and some people prefer the Floyd Rose but optimistic is a good word for that price!

I highly disagree. 1 out of every 5 that shows up on ebay has a FR. Lots of Heartfield HM's are out there and they are always coming up on ebay. The standard looking HM FR is quite common as well.

I have no problem or was offended at all. I'm merely stating that HM's with floyds are quite common on the webs for sale. I check ebay daily shopping for guitars and they seem to show up once a month if not more often. I can agree with your statement that they are much more rare than a Kahler equipped HM. Especially one in this condition. But you can certainly agree with me that FR equipped Heartfield Talon HM's are quite common.

I am personally sorry if I offended you in any way. I'm just throwing my opinion into the swarm.
