Recently I've had plans of building up another Tele Thinline with the neck I have laying around for one. I basically have everything sorted out except the Pickups.
Any suggestions? I am looking for something a bit 70s rockish. Not crazy overdone sustain monster.
Standard Sized Humbuckers seem like a perfect fit. I've priced up a pickguard on Warmoth.
So again any suggestions are welcome.

I'm real happy with the tonerider 'rocksong' in my Stormshadow axe, alnico II magnets, 12k ohms, great for EVH type tones. Another option is the GFS classic II, again alnico II but lower output at around 8k ohms I've never played through one myself but some of the clips I've heard sound great for that classic rock tone. Just my opinion but I always seem to prefer alnico II p/ups, they just seem to have a certain magic about them.

GFS is great value for money. I put two in an epiphone LP standard and it's quite good sounding now. I chose high output pickups, but I'm not disappointed by the quality
