Kahler's new fulcrum trem (Steeler replacement)

I have been in the process of trying to restore (sort of) an HM Ultra. I have two NOS Steelers but the blocks are too deep. I contacted Kahler (wammi world) to discuss replacement parts and found out they are introducing a replacement for the Steeler, which I always preferred over the Floyd Rose original. The Steeler is a licensed version of the Floyd--and, IMO, better. In an email, I was told:

"it is not a steeler but will replace it without mods. Its better than the steeler. We hope January at namm or summer namm."

I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Now that the patenets have run out on the original Floyd (2001), it seems only logical that Kahler would once again diversify into the fulcrum market. Can't wait to see what they come up with. I too am a fan of the Steeler. I have 3 strats with them factory installed and two spares (not for sale).
