Who wants $80 for a back plate on eBay?

Okay, out of politeness I haven't said anything until now. I can't take it anymore! For like a YEAR, some dude has been listing HM parts on eBay for totally ridiculous, RETARDED prices! A black plate for $80? A neck plate for $98?? A pickup ring for $63?? Really? And like, those items have been listed for like a YEAR! Whoever it is has probably spent about as much in fees or more as those items are actually worth.

Yeah, doesn't make much sense to me. You could buy a whole beat up HM Strat and take the parts of it for that much money and then sell the rest of the parts and still get a couple of hundred bucks (neck, body, tuners, pickups, etc). I understand the neck plate and back plate are going to be somewhat unusual or specific to a 20 something year old model, but they are not THAT rare. There is HM stuff on eBay all the time. If it's not there now, wait a few weeks or a month or two. And the pickup ring, I would imagine that there are numerous substitutes that would fit on an HM as if stock.
