It's been 23 years since I bought my first HM Strat from Manny's music in Manhattan. It was the teal blue with maple neck. Probably the best guitar I've ever owned, except that I traded it away about 15 years ago. I've been saying for the longest time that I would get one back. Well....I just picked up a white one with a maple neck and it's all coming back to me. What a great neck on these. I've had it for about a day and I can't wait to put some serious playing into it. I have a question though. The trem arm scews in and only goes so far before it hits the fine tuners. And then there is a lot of wobble. Is this normal? I don't remember this (but then again it has been a while). I know allen screw keeps the arm snug but boy is there a lot of wobble on it. I'm so used to Floyds or the Ibanez's which don't have any wobble on the trem arms, that this just feels way too loose for a tremolo arm to be. Any advice would be appreciated.
And I am proud to be part of this forum and look forward to sharing thoughts and ideas with everyone.
One down and hopefully several more to go on my way to building a small Fender HM Strat empire.

Wobble souds like the wrong size arm. Kahler uses weird measurings, and I doubt any other arm would fit right. The "Real" arms fit snug and with no wobble IME.
