I bought this new in the late 80`s.It was that hot pink color.I have refinished several times through the years.Black a few times, red and stained dark brown once.I still play it quite a bit has a SD JB in the bridge and 2 SD Antiquity texas hot singles in the N&M.Knobs are original but I touched up the white,All the pots and switch have been replaced with CTS and Switchcraft 5 way.The Spyder still works just fine and returns to pitch. The frets needs to be re-crowned but it still plays good.The Lacquer paint and clear nitro have made it sound better than any other finish.May redo it again sometime but kinda like the sticker look for now it is HM after all.Anyway just thought I would share my old well enjoyed Strat.
