Ok, so I fell in love with the F body on site when I first saw it, and I hated (in a way) using my F-50 as a "Donor" for my first Aluminum guitar project, so I've had my eye out ever since for another F...
Saw one of these on eBay I was blown away! I never knew LTD put out an F version this exquisite! 5 piece neck through with FULL ebony treatment...O.O
The bids on it were sub $200, but I guessed it would easily go for $500-600, well out of my price range, so I clicked "Watch" and promptly forgot about it...
To my shock, the guitar sold for $235.00! There was hope! It took me a while to track one down, but I finally got one at Guitar Center on the East Coast. Like $350 shipped.
They only made this guitar in 2008 and 2009 according to ESP archived websites. The only difference was the upgrade in 2009 to a Floyd Rose Special bridge from the ESP bridge.
Specs: Neck-Thru-Body 25.5” Scale Mahogany Body Ebony Top 5 Pc Maple/Mahogany Neck Ebony Fingerboard Locking Nut 42mm Neck Width Extra Thin U Neck Contour 24 XJ Frets Black Nickel Hardware ESP Tuners Double-Locking Bridge ESP LH-301 (B&N) p.u. w/ Push-Pull Coil Tap on Tone Control Finish: NG

Wow - that is badass. I bet it sounds like a Les Paul that George Lynch would build! I'm intrigued by the ebony top, RavenWest makes a guitar like that, too. Just the thing to give the Mahogany some bite. Beautiful guitar. Did you say you got that one? If so, congrats!

Yessir, it's mine...I've seen 2 of them on ebay so far, and a couple online elsewhere. Fairly rare.
What I don't understand, is that ESP still makes the Bass version of this guitar, but they only made the guitar version for 2 years...what gives? lol

That's similar to the Squier Skull & Crossbones discount HM copy - basses are still made but guitars not made for many years now.
