Ibanez, Kramer, J/C.... I dig all the shredsticks I've been through something like 50 electrics in the last 5 or 6 years, and the ones that I've decided to keep are an Epiphone Les Paul, Kramer Focus 6000, Peavey Predator (old MIA Strat, not the newer import), and the HM Strat.

Hi Chris,
Have you had a chance to post the serial number of your HM Strat over in the HM Strat Serial Number Database thread? If you get a chance, I sure would appreciate it!
BTW, Welcome to the Forum!

I did post the serial # and a brief description.
The Predator is currently in pieces. I just got done reshaping & tung oiling the neck, and I'm installing a telecaster bridge pickup into it. I can't wait to get it back together. I'll snap some photos when it's done.

No doubt about it, they made some good guitars in those years, Chris!

For shred, I've got an Ibanez RG-320 that I've routed for an Edge bridge and have installed WCR Darkburst pickups. It's a great guitar. I also have a weakness for PRS CE-24s ('93 and earlier) with the wide-thin neck. They are great for blues and rock and they look so NICE. ;D and then the requisite "frankenstrat" and "frankentele".
