I purchased an old HM Strat years ago that was in pieces and most of the parts were in a tobacco tin. I put it together and have 100.00 in it. I painted it and started to sand it when I decided the finish looked pretty cool. I had my students sign it with a black sharpie and put green strings on it. It is still evolving. Anyway a Les Paul was my main guitar for years, but after I plugged the strat into the Mesa I really liked the tone. Needless to say it is now my main guitar. I need to have it set up professionally, but even with high action and dead frets I can tell it is a quality instrument that has just had a rough life. Anyway here is a link to me just messing around with it on youtube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3h9evaxOU2Q

Welcome to the club, Nick. I love the fact you brought this HM back to life!

What parts do you need? I think I have a pair of single coils pulled from an HM strat back around 1999. As far as I know, they are just American Standards, and they would need new covers. BTW, any chance you could point me to some tab similar to what you ran through in that demo vid? Shoot me a message if you want the pups & I'll look for them.

Do you still have the single coil pickups for sale?
