I'm in the market for a HM Strat - love the flat, thin necks of the 80's. I was looking to get an Ibanez RG but stumbled on the HM Strats. I just read an older thread mentioning that there is a difference in size/shape of necks with maple vs. rosewood fretboards? Is this true? I'm looking for the thinnest, flattest neck possible, so I'd like to know before I make my final choice.
