SCAM ALERT - someone on ebay named Melissa B, UN: cityescape777, located in Texas recently sold me an HM Strat with a fake neck on it. She said the logo had been painted over and refinished, but it was in reality a completely different neck, cut and finished to look like an HM headstock - not the right size (width), not the right feel, and a bit shoddier quality. I was assured it was all original, but I opened a case with eBay and they made her refund it. Right now, one of the tuners has lost the seal/cover (though this could be replaced). There are also a couple of cracks, one on each side, at the neck joint where the neck meets the body. The serial number is E927831. In case she tries to re-sell it, avoid this guitar. If you see an a blue/green (perhaps called turquoise) HM Strat on ebay that has no logo on the headstock, at least ask for the serial number before purchasing, not matter how insistent the seller is that the neck is original. Also ask for a pic of the neck joint. Peace, and, rock on y'all! Attachments:
