Is Ice Blue really Blue?

Hey guys, I have 6 HM strats.   Silly question,  are the Ice Blue HM strats really all teal?   I have 3 Ice Blue HMs, they all have teal in them.   Were they originally baby blue, but with age the color changed to teal?   I noticed in the ad from 88' Greg Howe is playing an Ice Blue HM that looks baby blue.   I recall seeing one new in a store in 88' and my memory is telling me it was baby blue.  What do all y'all think?

When I bought my HM Strat in 1987, it was Teal. It still is! So is my second (1987) one! don't think the colour has faded or changed a bit!

Anyway, I thought fender used to call this colour "Sonic Blue"?
