For your Strat project: Fender HM Strat 24 fret rosewood guitar neck with Gotoh tuners & Kahler locknut included !
Model ST-556HMR serial number: E908346 1989 Made in Japan 24 frets
known issues: you can feel the seam where the truss rod is between frets 5 and 8 as shown in the pix.... it could easily be sanded smooth. There is a small crack by the low E tuner and it would appear that on the front of the headstock by the Low E string and at the top edge side below the word FENDER that the previous owner covered up using a black Sharpie.
I believe the HM Strat Neck has a 2 1/4 neck heel and many strat bodies have 2 3/16 neck pockets so be aware that you may need to make some adjustments if you are not planning onj installing this neck onto a HM body.
