I agree with you - this one is a passer-upper!
They did make some of those double humbuckers. I included an entry on 'em in the Background page over at the main site. Seems weird to have a Strat with two humbuckers, but hey! Whaddyagonnado?

Doesn't look too bad! The trem would probably be ok if you clean the rust off. I did notice it had athe Kahler autolatch on it though, which is kind of rare. Price is a bit crazy, but seems fair given that HMs sell for quite a lot over there.

Yeah, I guess I was just suprised because it costed more than mine, and it was in worse condition. I guess the finish and pickup configuration make it worth more though.

i beleive i have this same style guitar, it is coil to have the coil swich to single out the coils for a total different tone, u use mine for very clean plaaying and still have the ability to crunch it out when i want. been a very good guitar for me. mark
