I picked my HSS kahler trem HM Strat on ebay last year. Just restrung it at the time and wiped it down etc. Have played it on and off since. I'm now keen to set it up better if possible. The action is quite low with the trem flat against the body. There is a bit of fret buzz and the intonation is not perfect. I'd be grateful for some input from you folks on setting it up better. Not desperate to have super low action. A well intonated, non-buzzing guitar is my goal here. Thanks!

Raise the trem up first and see if that fixes it. Check the neck to see how straight it is by looking down it from the headstock. Its normal to have a slight dip if you see it. For intonation, if its sharp, move the saddle back, flat, move forward. Then if you change string gauges, you'll have to reintonate it.

What's the method to set the intonation , what do I loosen and what do I turn ? Looks like the string are in the way of the saddle screws .

Nevermind , I figured it out , I had to cut the ball end off the strings .
