Showmaster Scorpion HH

Hoping someone could shed some light on this beast for me.

I've seen it listed as a Fender Showmaster Scorpion HH,
supposedly only made one year, which year idk...
but the more I dig, the more it appears it may be
considered a Squier.? The specs as I know them at the
moment seem unlike a Squier...

Set neck
Chrome Fender logo
Scorpion inlay at 12th fret
No dots on fretboard
Contoured top
Cream binding on body and neck
Through body fixed bridge
Fender Atomic II bridge pickup
Fender Black Canyon neck pickup

It has an eight digit serial number with no letter prefix
and it's made in Korea. Only says Fender on the headstock.
I've found the sister guitar, which is basically the same
guitar in Tele form. It's called a Fender Esquire Custom Scorpion.

Notice the address indicates "Squier_Showmaster_Scorpion_HH_PartsList"
Click the link and the name of the tab is Cort Master 6.03.xls, and
it mentions "Cort" 4 times in the document. Referencing the Cort factory?

What year is this guitar?? Is it a Squier?

Well the guy I bought this from called and emailed Fender directly and got me the
specs, and also at the end of the list it confirms this guitar was only made in 2003,
and only 550 were ever made!!.

I wish I'd have thought about calling Fender!

1.625" nut width and 15.75" radius is pretty close to an HM,
I hope it actually feels similar as well.

I've had a couple of the Squier Showmaster/Stagemasters and they were impressive guitars that I liked a lot.

My dad actually picked one of these up a year or 2 ago. He's loved it ever since, and I've been trying to find another one at a decent price to surprise him with. Let me knownif you ever decide to get rid of it. They are super cool tho, so wouldn't blame you a bit if you don't.
