Ok so I'm looking to sell my 1988 Cream/ Off-white colored Fender Strat HM. I'm having a hard time figuring out how much the thing costs though! I just joined this forum (and am not sure if this is the right section of the forum), but I'm looking to get some advice from some of you who will know much better than I! It's a Japan version, serial number 1007658. Black hardware, Floyd Rose tremolo bridge. I also have a hardshell Fender case that I'd like to sell with it. I'm not too knowledgable about other hardware questions, so this might be as much as I can answer. Here are some quick pictures I took of it: www.dropbox.com/s/ee4zr2qokfg1tfh/IMG_0489.JPG?dl=0www.dropbox.com/s/ldyrixmr7k9764r/IMG_0490.JPG?dl=0www.dropbox.com/s/qn6mfn9x3al02yo/IMG_0491.JPG?dl=0Thanks, and if you're also interested in it, shoot me an email! I'm going to have to politely decline your offer, but thanks for the info! It's super confusing trying to find information on these guitars... I don't know anything about the pickups or hardware, and i keep getting conflicting info from around the net. For example, I thought it was made in 1988, however i've seen somewhere that the ones with the "digital" Strat on the head means it was made maybe in 1991 or so?

All the info you need is at in the "made in us/japan" sticky thread in the main page. I paid $500 for just the guitar, no case. I wouldn't take less than $500 If you get any offers.

Thanks for the info! I actually read that sticky post, and it left me more confused than before. My serial number is "1007658," and according to the descriptions in the sticky that would make it Made in the USA from 1989 to I think 1992. When I bought it however, I was told it was made in 1988 and you can clearly see that it says Made in Japan. Below is a link to a better picture of the serial number. www.dropbox.com/s/rpesobdccsux454/untitled-8.jpg?dl=0
