Everything I have read about the EVH D-Tuna is for Floyd Rose systems. Has anyone tried to install on the Kahler Spyder? I love my 88 HM Strat. I bought it brand new in late 88 and have played 100's of guitars over my years but this is still my favorite of all time. Still use it as my everyday player. I have never ever had any issues with it or had to do anything to it ( except clean it of course ) but I don't want to get the D-Tuna and it lay on the body. It is still in damn good shape. I have taken care of it because I love it so much and I don't want to put this on it and F it up at all. Just curious if anyone has tried this before on a Spyder. Thanks and I love this forum. You all did an awesome job. Here I thought I was the only one left playing the red headed step child of the fender world lol. Good to see so many others that still appreciate it as much as I do. Peace my HM Brothers ( and Sisters ).

Sorry I just found where this was already asked and posted on. My bad. Still no true answer though, some say yes and some say no. Guess I will have to try it for myself.

Yep. Just put one on my 89. Using Zakk Wylde boomers however added an additional spring in the back.
Going to take a bit to set it up. The additional spring really did the trick and helped immensely.
Worth the $30 to check it out. Also added a interrupting volume pot ala Buckethead. It’s a blast to play and easily my favorite guitar. Ever.
