Routed for HH, time to restore :)

Hi everyone!



My first post on here and also my first HM.



I bought it to restore, as you can see someones routed it for a neck humbucker...



I'm not too fussed about the decal, I've had a look for one online and can't find anything, it's got a floyd but I have a spare Spyder in the workroom so i might pop that in instead. I've got to order the string clamps and bolts from the US. I actually order the same parts about 2 months ago, i got a MIJ strat with a stock Kahler and missing clamps...



I can't wait to get it up and running! I've got some custom wound pickups waiting to go in made just for it

I'm an experienced luthier so I'm not too worried about the job but why did the original owner do this??

It cost me £50

Has anyone else came across a HM routed up like this? You think the original owner would have just bought a different guitar or something. He also removed the decal

i am looking for the blue prints of the HM i have a body but the neck i used is a washburn X series 25 scale
there is a place in messa az that will mill out the neck but i need the exact mesurements
