HM Strat Prices

Hi folks, As of last week I am a proud HM Strat owner. finally have it all setup and I now get what all the fuss is about.

I live in Canada and have been slowly getting info on the guitar (Thank god for this site). I have a question regarding

the price of these. Where I'm from the prices range anywhere from 1200 to 3000 and a lot of them are reissues.Then there is

That works out to 12,000 Canadian. Prices seem to be all over the place.

Mine is a 1988 with all original parts , The more I play it the more I want to keep it .

Is it normal for the prices to be all over the map on these?

Wow! That's reaching Gibson sig model prices. It's been a while since I looked, but I remember seeing them range from $800-$1,800. Glad I got mine when they were $500. You could build one cheaper than this auction price. 😵‍💫
